WORKPLACE TRANSFORMATION AT ONE AMERICA SQUARE

Brightwell manage services to the BT Pension Scheme, one of the largest private sector pension schemes in the UK.

As part of a wider transformational change process, the business had significantly upgraded their technological assets, had invested in a new brand and now they wanted their workspace to be fully reflective of their new identity.

OUR CHALLENGE

Occupying 10,100 sq ft on the 10th and 11th floors of One America Square, conveniently situated for Fenchurch Street station and with wide views across much of the City of London, our client’s post-pandemic return to the office was a perfect opportunity to visibly express to both staff and clients how much the organisation had transformed. NHQ were briefed to create a timeless, high-quality environment based around the client’s new brand and which would encourage staff to use smart technology to work flexibly.

THE NHQ DIFFERENCE

The smaller 11th floor would be allocated for the reception, business lounge, a creative area and a boardroom for 30 people while the larger 10th floor would house the main workstation suite, 2 bookable executive offices, 8 trading desks, 2 phone booths, a breakout area and a central collaboration zone. Contrasting with the calm, classic aesthetic of the 11th floor, the 10th floor would use a more vibrant palette based around the four primary colours of the BTPS logo. Entering the space from the lift lobby, the waiting area has an organic feel with a semi-circular moss wall as the main backdrop while the desking areas wrap around the outer perimeter and are punctuated by breakout areas and other spaces to meet, collaborate and create. The completed space is a smart, clean and professional environment that will promote collaboration and enhance employee experience.
