NHQ was awarded the contract for the design, fit-out and project management of the new workspace and for managing the relocation from the client’s West End offices. Along with the ambitious design requirements, Aspire wanted the office space to have an open-plan feel with clearly identified zones. These included 1) a meeting zone with a dedicated meet-and-greet area, 2) a collaborative working area, and 3) a large open-plan area accommodating 24 individual workstations and a further integrated meeting area.

THE PROJECT

OUR CHALLENGE

Aspire Development Management is a property consultancy that assists its clients to achieve success with their own ambitious construction projects. The company’s vision was to move into a 3000 ft2 space in a prestigious building in Central London and wanted its new working environment to be an exemplar of modern office design.

THE NHQ DIFFERENCE

The irregular floor plan and character of the 100 year old building added to the technical complexity of the brief, but the NHQ team rose to the challenge and prepared several space plan options for consideration. The clients eventually selected a striking design that featured frameless glass partitioning, modern floor finishes demarcating the zones, high gloss worktops, over-size chrome and glass pendant lighting and a Living Wall to create a calm ambience in the reception area.

DESIGNED TO DELIGHT

With the design agreed, NHQ undertook all the fit-out work and managed the entire project through to a successful conclusion in just five weeks. When the work was completed, we moved our delighted clients into their engaging new workspace, on-time and on-budget.
